meet our amazing ‘mumpreneur’

Jenny heard about mum2mum market when watching BBC2’s Dragons Den and thought it was a brilliant idea, just what Rugby needed.

“I am so excited to be giving local parents the opportunity to buy great quality second hand baby and child goods or make some cash from their outgrown children’s stuff”
"When Cath explained that she wanted to sell franchises all over the UK, I was very excited, I knew it would be the perfect job for me and my family”
“I was due to return to work after maternity leave and was so unsure about it. I wanted something more flexible to fit in with my children's needs and our busy family life”
“I have tried different methods of selling and buying through online auctions and local social media selling pages. I've had some bad experiences, with items arriving broken or dirty!
With mum2mum market you can buy and sell face to face.”

Jenny has taken on the Rugby and Daventry franchise and launched her first mum2mum market event in Rugby at The Avon Valley School earlier this month.
Mum2mum market is a growing business allowing mums (and dads) to buy and sell their nearly new baby and children's items such as designer prams, cots, toys and clothes.
It helps parents wanting to sell their preloved items by creating these events and providing them with helpful selling tips and pricing guides before each sale. Mum2mum market aims to help mums avoid the hassle of listing multiple items online, packaging and posting them.
It also prevents mums being left frustrated from buyingsomething online that arrives damaged or in poor condition. Everything that is sold at our events must be in excellent condition, meaning that local mums can grab a great bargain, getting nearly new items for a fraction of the price that they would be sold on the high street. Large items such as prams sell for about one third of retail price and baby and children's clothes start from 50p.
Jenny added: “ We will also have a limited number of stalls for baby and children related businesses, to book at our events. It a great opportunity to promote a local business directly to their  target market”

For further information and stalls for future sales  (which must be booked in advance via the Website), please visit
