allsorts magazine came into the world in September 2009 following my redundancy (when I thought my world had ended.. seriously!). “Hold on a minute”… I had more than 20 years experience working in print and online media, advertising and marketing communications, having spent more than 10 years working for and managing advertising departments of local paid for and free newspapers and then latterly managing highly successful advertising agency businesses in Northampton and Milton Keynes. I absolutely couldn’t miss this opportunity to use my experience and do something for ‘me’ and for local people! Although there were a few local community magazines and newspapers circulating in my area – there was nothing specifically for the family market.

What a gap! I had always found it tricky to find information on products and services for our family with two sons now 25 and 16, so, after some detailed research and positive feedback from local mums and dads like you, local businesses and schools… I got cracking… producing a magazine especially for you and your families. So, there you have it. The response that I have had from you, your children, schools and local businesses continues to be phenomenal… thank you.
